Today was a light day, since we were pretty tired from the long drive to the Seven Lakes Route yesterday. We planned to stay in Bariloche, while some in our party went zip lining in the nearby Colonia de Suiza. Colonia de Suiza is an artisan’s village of sorts, but when we went there, the market was closed, and only a couple of restaurants were open. We had lunch there while our companions went zip lining at the nearby mountain.
We headed back to Bariloche and stopped at main church in town, the Cathedral of Our Lady of Nahuel Huapi.
Finally, we headed to downtown Bariloche and bought some famous Patagonian chocolates from Mamuschka. Tomorrow we head to El Calafate, in the heart of Argentinian Patagonia!
